Welcome to Meeeweee LOL

Best place in Meeweee - hotel LOL. (Imperial Hotel)

Buffet dinner in the hotel……

The best of the best enjoyment I can get in Meeeweee is listening to these people singing. Omg they are really gooooodd.

Lasagna @ Dave’s Deli

Spaghetti Carbonara with turkey ham @ Dave’s Deli

Meeweee is a little bit boring to me. It may be because I’ve no local guide to bring me around >_< I still way prefer Kuching!!!

Foodiee!

Venue: Java Juice, Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim (Near to Hock Lee Centre and Crown Plaza)

It was my first time been to the Java Juice. Mr. K said Java Juice is quite a popular place during his time at my age (woo sounds so old).

The environment is good, price is good, food is good, and the fruit juice is so damn surprising!!

Various type of fruit juice in a jug - RM 6.80. OMG. We had Papaya milk. =D

How much is a jug by the way? Around 4 (or more?) glasses. And because of this, I rate it 4/5 LOL.

Grilled Chicken and Lamb @ RM 13.80. Rating: 3.8/5

Chicken spaghetti @ I forgot how much lol. Rating: 3.5/5

This is really OMG big portion. Burger with 200g EACH of chicken and beef @ RM16.80. NOT SUITABLE FOR age under 12 (stated in the menu) and for me, it’s not suitable for most of the girls as well. Swt.

I think we gonna stop eating meat for quite awhile. =_=

Salted egg prawns. Rate: 2.8/5. Not as nice as I expected.

————————–

Spot 2: Lao Li Cafe & C121, Tabuan Laru.

Case: Dinner with Mr. K, again. :D

Pork Rice 猪脚饭. Price: Forgot. Rating: 4/5 (C121, Penang somethingsomething Stall)

Comment: Do not underestimate just a small bowl of delicious pork. More than enough to eat with a plate of plain rice.

Crispy Chicken Wings. MYR10 for 5. Rating: 4.2/5 (In front of Lao Li cafe)

Comment: I love it la!!! Always see those Ah Pek eating this with Heineken. Lol. I know it’s not healthy to have this, that’s why I have sore throat after having that. =.=

I want to thank Helen and Elly here, for being such lovely friends when I’m so down and feeling bad. I guess I’m putting too much stress on myself. Thanks for listening when I’m trying to express and spitting out all my unhappy stuffs. I couldn’t believe I cried over such thing. Swt.

Since I’ve made my own decision, so god bless me.

Happy Birthday to Ah Mei

Ah Mei is my second younger sister (I have three) and she just turned 11. Yea, that makes me feel older. :(

Sponge cake is not suitable for beginner. Swt. Too much cocoa sifted on top as well. -.-"

It’s week 2. Tutorials start. OMG…

Appetite Stimulation

Spot 1: 大碗公 Da Wan Gong, somewhere opposite SJK Chung Hua No.3

Case: Breakfast with Mr. K

猪扒面 Pork Noodle. Rating: 4.8/5 :D

Comment: All time favourite breakfast! Hand-made noodle, pork oil (lard), and of course the marinated pork slices. It tastes good enough by just eating the noodles; a trip to the heaven with the pork slices. 0.2 deducted from full rating cuz I want more pork slices. :(

—————————–

Spot 2: 阿头海鲜 Ah Tou Seafood, near to Taipei 101, RH Plaza.

Case: Dinner with Mr. K :D

奶油尤鱼 Butter Sotong. Rating 4/5

Comment: It tastes really nice [to me] and impressed me a lot after my first try. Here’s a little note for those who want to try. There are two cooks. One is better than another one, a lot. Try your luck. Rating was based on the ‘nice’ one that I’ve ever tried, lol.

—————————–

Spot 3: The Junk

Case: My treat to Mr. K and my another two dear friends. :D

Lamb Shank ordered by two of us at RM28 each. Rating: 2.5/5

Fish and Chips ordered by another two at RM20. Rating: 3.5/5

Comment: Obviously, the lamb shank disappointed me. I’ve tried the fish and chips from one of those who ordered it. It tastes so much nicer than my lamb! >_<

What else? It’s public holiday tomorrow (9/3). Yayyyyyy

Good Food as Breakfast

Honey brought me to Syn Hing Yung Cafe, Pending last week to try something new. :3

沙巴生肉面  Sabah Sheng Rou Mian, direct translated as "Sabah raw pork noodle". I was confused by the name as well when I heard it for the first time. The meat wasn’t raw, just like what you see in the picture.

The pork is sliced into super-duper thin slices with oh-my-god tender texture. It’s similar to shabu-shabu, no, tastes way better than that. Undescribable deliciousness and it actually melts in my mouth! It’s just like eating fresh sliced "raw meat", hence the name.

梅菜扣肉 Mei Cai Kou Rou. I didn’t try it but It looks not bad, lol.

Delicious fried kolo mee ready within 5 minutes after your order. Fast leh?

Rach’s favourite!!!! OH NIIIIIIIIIIIIII (How to call it? yam cake? lol)

Take #2, SOOOO delicious!! Sweet yam and rice at the bottom layer together with the salty dried preserved radish, yum yum!

Hungry!! >_<

Campus starts tomorrow! *piff*

The Dinner & Something Else

Filed under: Celebration, Food, Routine, Life

Evelyn and I was thinking of to gather all the Swinburnians-Degree-JPA-Scholars [who are trapped in Kuching forever] for a dinner.  The venue was changed from Ristorante Beccari to Pizza Hut, lol. 9 out of 16 appeared on that night, too bad, Abang Zul didn’t come and we all ‘miss’ him.

We had 3 regular pizzas and 1 large pizza. Nice? Lol.

From the left: Marvin, Stephen, Paul aka Mr. Cheese, Philip, Evelyn, Sandra, Michelle, Me, Hui Lin

Enjoyed having so much talk with you all :3

————————————————————–

Some craps to say here. Kheng and I supposed to be in Macau/Hong Kong this week. The tickets were bought quite a long time ago but we ended up not going for my mom’s sake. She’s just back from Singapore on last Wednesday, weak sitting on the wheel chair and was in pain. I never saw her in such pain before since her illness was first discovered. Well, this time was lucky enough that there is/are only tumor(s) left in her liver but not the other parts of the body. She just had RFA and hopefully to kill the cancer cells. The doctor now came out with such assumption based on my mom’s condition - the tumor(s) now in her liver might be the original, not the one in the stomach at first. It means that, she is having liver cancer that spreaded to her stomach and lungs, but not stomach cancer that spreaded to the parts mentioned. Anyway, the statement has not been proved yet and left merely an assumption as the doctor hasn’t do any lab test on the liver tumor. She’s now doing better each day, can slowly walk and get off from the bed. She chose to take chinese medicine now. Though I’m not that into chinese med but I respect her choice and pray for her like I always do.

Now, something about me. I finally received my invoice from Swinburne on freaking Saturday. Late enough compared to the rest. I’ve arranged my own timetable and has got one day free. I know most of those who are taking same majors as me would squeeze the possible time and have both Wednesday and Friday free. Sounds good but too packed for me as I’m not that flexible, swt. Boo, finally class starts soon and new things coming up. I guess I’m going to skip a lot of classes again, may be? I’ve been go through this kind of campus life since my mom was sick. Just like previous sem, I only attended 1 out of 4 lectures and the rest of the tutorials. Good enough? Lol. I still don’t know how am I going to survive in this coming semester. Life goes on in various ways.

Okay, here are something happy to talk about. I’ve got myself a pair of Onitsuka! Nana too! Lol. Such a coincidence. :3 I finally moved a step towards something that I wanted to do since a year ago. The spirit and passion are still there after a year, surprised myself as well. Here’s it! I don’t want myself to regret next time. And starting from now I won’t. Lol. Currently busy with Kheng’s new house as they are, or we are moving in soon. So far we just had some important things done and left the rest to accomplish slowly after moving in. ^_^

For my dear Aielee and Helen, I still owe two of you a meal LOL. Hope you read this.

Something extra about me. I’m becoming rather aggresive these days and it’s a kind of losing control. Hmm. I don’t even know what myself is thinking. Oh yea, a little note for some people out there. Asking me WHY-questions about me with obvious reasons in front of you are making me feel like killing you. I’m not kidding. The WHY-questions about me that you’re wondering, 95% are answered by my mom’s condition. As easy as this.

Do you feel it now? The longest post with words ever. Tata.
