O&M Showcase

We had our OM showcase on week 12, on the day I off to Singapore. Now looking back at these pictures, realize that the time really past by so fast.

My project team named B209 Spartans (lol). I’m so happy to spend the time with these bunch of people that I had no chance to know before. Special things that happened is that, I as in my team has to compete with the other teams where my good good friends (Especially Elly, Levina, Wilfred and Anna!)were all in there! I really didn’t like the feeling of being friends and competitors at the same time. Yuck. That’s why I seldom raise topics related to this subject. (If essay then different lah)

Well, on the showcase day, we were so unlucky that the theatre aka L001 was having some technical problems and we were all forced to change the venue to L004. Swt. It was quite a shock to us as all the presenters, including me, were so well prepared to present in the theatre.

However, we still managed to do everything well and got a D for the showcase. Congratz to all spartans! :D

All ‘Spartans’ in 2.03 before the showcase. I was damn nervous that time!

During presentation, with Emy.

With our dear leader Evelyn this time. I was waiting for my turn. I look nervous huh?

My assistant manager Gavin T!! HAhahaahaha

All the presenters except Au Yong. (Back L - Tausif, Gavin, Philip, Hendra, ME, Irene, Evelyn, Shi Hui)

Me and my babeee Helen. (I know the main ‘attraction’ of this pic is our legs =.=)

All members in website subgroup including Evelyn. I appreciate you guys!!

After showcase we had lunch at the Spring. Gavin is so proud of this pic cuz he thinks he looks fit. You think?

With Lionel F.

With Eric and Hendra who kept on laughing while taking pic with me. Why, orang kaya?

Last but not least, GOOD LUCK to all Swinburnians in final exams!

ROARRRRRR cubit cubit cubit

I love this pic ahahahaahaha *poke* *poke* *poke*

Dined at food court here. Do we have such a clean environment in Kuching? [perhaps m’sia?]

It’s not smelly. Just her stupid pose.

Well, continue about my mom. Doctor said her condition seemed to be fine, no other cancer cells in the other parts [but not 100% for just in case] but a tumor in her liver. So he gave us 3 options and one of them is RFA (radiofrequency ablation). He told us the effectiveness and perhaps the side effects [if there’s any] of each of them. All of us then spent our time sitting or standing or squatting down somewhere outside the clinic to decide which to choose. My mom then went for RFA. On Tuesday we all came back to Kuching. I then booked the ticket online and she flied over again on Thursday for the RFA. By the time she came back, she was walking at a very slow pace and her face was so pale. Yea…it’s painful and who can understand it?

Singapore #2 - Part A

I try to keep my post short as some people said it takes a long time to load the pictures on my blog. Hence I break my sg trip posts into several parts. Some of you might be wondering how do I remember the time and places I went to and all that. Yes I carried a notepad and jot down everything! LOL.

9 NOV

7:00am
- breakfast
8:45am
- Waterloo Street
10:30am
- Bugis Village
- Bugis Junction

We had our breakfast here in the hotel. Nice environment huh??? Crowded with angmohs. The food were just average, cost us around SGD170+ in total for 5 adults and 2 kids. I think it’s quite cheap [if I stop converting it to MYR].

One of the kids.

Hmmm…

Indian temple at Waterloo Street. My dad was standing there…

Beware of the shyt drops from the sky.

Selling flowers in front of the temple.

The temple where my parents used to go to when they’re in Singapore. I’ve got myself a ‘guan yin niang niang’ necklace there.

In Bugis Junction. It was still early and some of the shops were still closed.

Obama, En En, Ah Mei.

Singapore #1

Million thanks to Airasia making it possible for all my family members traveled from Kuching to Singapore at super low fares. It’s also a good news for my mom who travels to Singapore very often for her treatments (Forget about the night schedules, swt). Silkair and MAS both charge around MYR800-900 for a round trip from Kuching to Singapore, and now only needs approximately half of that.

7 people were in the trip this time, my family members and my Honey. Mom was actually going for her body scannings and all that, at the same time enjoy walking around with all of us.

8 NOV - Not long after I finished my OM presentation, we all headed to KIA.

8:00++pm
-Arrived Singapore.
9:00pm
- Park Hotel Orchard
- Paragon
- Takashimaya

@ KIA

My family and Kheng was the cameraman.

View from the opposite of the hotel we stayed.

The lobby.

Me on my bed. Me, my Honey and two of my sisters shared the room and my parents and En En in another room (We had connecting room that time). I strongly recommend this hotel cuz it’s so comfy! SD$278 per night per room.

Ah Pek sells ice cream.

Three of us - Kheng, me and my sister were so addicted to this ice cream in bread cost SGD1. We had this everyday…durian flavor…continuously.

Had this as supper - MOS Teriyaki Chicken Burger, SGD3+, yummy but so small.

To be continued…

Oh no!

So I said YUI’s lyric is really good:

過ぎてきた日々全部で 今のあたしなんだよ
カンタンに 行かないから 生きてゆける
All the days in the past have made me who I am now
Life is not simple that making me keep living on.

Some unhappy things happened in the past, you thought they’re all gone. Vanished. Ended. Then started living your life happily but, what would you do when you get to know that, the things are actually continue to getting worse?

The false is always endless. The truth is always hidden behind. What’s next?

To some of the people who are trying to do something to overwhelm me. Go ahead.

First, as if I am that easy to get overwhelm by the something something that you’ve done. I have a mother who is sick to take care, three younger sisters to concern, and a father who’s carrying the whole family burden. You think it’s funny? I DIDN’T even cry or sad or get mad or collapse with my mom’s disease that no one will know that whether it can be cured? and who do you think you are to affect my routine?

Second, you’re just making yourself a worse person. That’s it.

Well, I have to tell all of you that - I am living. Trying to be good and I try harder than you.

- End -
